Ethan's GT86 memorial build

Some of you may have known Ethan Swallow a true modified car enthusiast & owner of this awesome GT86 who sadly passed away in a RTA 04 January 2018 only 19 years old & with his whole life ahead of him,

before that very sad day, Ethan spent a lot of time at the workshop with Barry planning a V8 conversion, Ethan was so enthusiastic always wanted to learn everything he could about high performance mechanics.

the engine & front seats had been removed & sold ready to begin the build alongside Barry's monster 350Z build, excited about revealing them both at the Simply Jap show at Beaulieu.

One year on we were honored to be contacted by Ethan's father requesting that we supply & fit an original GT86 engine & front seats to get the car back on the road,

so we arranged collection of the vehicle a week before Xmas ………..

We obviously knew that Ethan's one year anniversary was coming up so we used all of our time & contacts to try to source an engine, ancillaries, seats etc in the hope we could get the car back to Ethan's father early in the new year

We were lucky to find the parts we needed quickly & even though we had to travel 1100 miles round trip across the country to collect them we got to work over the Xmas holiday putting the car back together ………….

We were then informed that Ethan's friend had arranged a memorial car meet on 5th January 2019 so we were really chuffed to let them know that we had the car all put back together & it could attend the meet :-)

over 250 people attended to pay their respects to a much loved & missed friend & member of the modified car scene.
